1. Introduction

NexQR ("the App") is a personal project developed by an independent developer. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any company, organization, or third-party entity. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Data Collection & Usage

The App creates QR codes and provides utility tools. We prioritize your privacy:

  • No Server Storage: We do not store your personal data, QR codes, or files on our own servers.
  • Local Storage: Some settings (like theme preference) are stored locally on your device.

3. Google Drive Integration (Cloud Sync)

If you choose to sign in with Google, the App uses the Google Drive API to backup your history.

  • Limited Access: The App asks for the drive.file scope. This means it can only access and edit files created by this App (specifically nexqr_data.json). It cannot see, open, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
  • Your Control: You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account security settings.

4. Limited Use Disclosure

NexQR's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication and hosting. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
